Working Together
Our work together is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and connection—with yourself, with others, and with the Earth. I offer a nonjudgmental, trauma-informed space where you can bring the full truth of what you’re feeling—grief, fear, rage, numbness, hope, or uncertainty—and know it will be met with care.
I work integratively, drawing from somatic therapy, ecopsychology, mindfulness, parts work, and narrative approaches to support your healing and growth. Whether you are seeking clarity, coping tools, deeper resilience, or a more meaningful relationship with the living world, our sessions will be guided by what matters most to you.
We might work indoors, in virtual space, or incorporate nature-based practices to support regulation and connection. For some, therapy is a place to process and grieve. For others, it’s a way to reconnect with purpose, creativity, or grounded activism. Wherever you are in your process, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
This is not about having the “right” response to a collapsing world. It’s about making space for what’s real, and finding your way forward—rooted, resourced, and not alone.
FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with the BCBS Duke Student Plan (with a $10 co-pay) and most Aetna plans, including the North Carolina State Health Plan.
For all other insurance providers, I am considered out-of-network. I’m happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.
How much does it cost?
My standard fee is $150 per 50-minute session if I am not in-network with your insurance.
I offer sliding scale spots—please email me to inquire about availability.
You are also welcome to request a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
Are you meeting in person?
Sessions are held via secure telehealth for clients living in North Carolina or Tennessee. I offer evening appointments and flexible scheduling.
If you're local to the Asheville area or visiting, I also offer in-person, nature-based healing sessions by request. Please contact me directly to learn more.
Can I get a “Good Faith Estimate”?
Yes. If you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that explains how much your care will cost. Contact me directly to request one and we’ll walk through it together.
